Call for EU Reference Laboratories for public health in the fields of food- and waterborne pathogens
The European Commission has issued three new calls for applications for EU Reference Laboratories (EURLs) in public health.
On 30 April 2024, the European Commission issued three new calls for applications for EU Reference Laboratories (EURLs) in public health in the following fields:
- Food and water-borne bacteria
- Food, water, and vector-borne helminths and protozoa
- Food and water-borne viruses
Interested public health laboratories in EU Member States and EEA countries are invited to submit their applications no later than Wednesday 14 August 2024 at 12:00 (noon) Central European Summer Time.
The first round of calls for application for EURLs in different fields was launched in 2023 and more EURLs for public health are going to be designated over the coming years.
