ECDC cooperates with partners all over the world and plays a key role in pooling knowledge, exchanging information, and promoting best practices among public health experts.
ECDC works together with the institutions and agencies of the EU, in particular the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA).
ECDC cooperates with international partners, such as the World Health Organization and the centres for disease control and prevention (CDCs) across the globe.
