The work of coordinating and developing disease specific surveillance is organized into six groups:

• AMR/HCAI: deals with the surveillance of Health Care Associated Infections and with the surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance.



• FWD: deals with the surveillance of Food and Water Borne Diseases and Zoonosis.



• EVD: deals with the surveillance of Emerging and Vector Borne Diseases.



• HASH: deals with the surveillance of HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infections and Hepatitis.



• VPD: deals with the surveillance of the Vaccine Preventable Diseases.



• ResInf: deals with the surveillance of Tuberculosis, Influenza and Legionnaires disease.
