Most of the institutes participating in the EPIET programme have national or regional responsibility in surveillance, disease control and intervention. Institutes marked with are acknowledged Training Sites.
An acknowledged Training Site is an EU/EEA institution that successfully completed a site appraisal process. In order to apply for acknowledgement as an EPIET or EUPHEM training site, Institutes must express their interest to the ECDC Coordinating Competent Body (CCB) of their Member State. The CCB may then request ECDC to perform an appraisal visit of the Institute in order for ECDC to decide about acknowledging the Institute as a Training Site.
Institutes available as training sites for Cohort 2015 will be indicated at a later stage.
