From 27 to 31 August EPIET and EUPHEM fellows will ‘try-out’ their ESCAIDE presentations in small review groups. A total of 92 presentations will be reviewed during the week, each in 2-hour review sessions, distributed over 8 breakout groups throughout the ECDC buildings. For the entire duration of the event, the auditorium and 8 smaller meeting rooms have been booked.
The programme
The 68 fellows currently in the fellowships have submitted more than 90 abstracts to ESCAIDE on topics like mumps, rubella, congenital toxoplasmosis, Legionnaire's disease, influenza, TB, food-borne outbreaks, HCAI, and mass gathering events.
In addition to the review sessions, there will be 1-hour wrap-up sessions each morning and special workshops in the afternoons that deal with presentation format, such as use of colours, graphs, tables, font size and style.
