ECDC briefing of country experts
25 May 2010 - 28 May 2010 | ECDC | Organized by: ECDC

The European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) is a 2-year competency based ‘learning by doing’ fellowship aimed to train public health specialists to apply epidemiology to acute public health threats. ECDC coordinates the EPIET programme and has recognised 35 EPIET Training Sites in 18 EU Member States plus Switzerland. Each year, ECDC selects a new group (cohort) of fellows for this training programme.

During this ‘Face to face’ meeting, candidates for the EPIET Fellowship of Cohort 16 will be interviewed and meet with representatives of EPIET Training sites . Training sites that will be available to host an EPIET fellow for 2 years will travel to the Face to Face meeting at ECDC to interview the candidates and to advise on the selection. The selection process takes place during three days.
