Third joint workshop on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Salmonella and Campylobacter with the Food- and Waterborne Diseases and Zoonoses Network and the EU Reference Laboratory for AMR, 6-7 April 2017
On 6-7 April 2017, the third joint workshop on AMR in Salmonella and Campylobacter will be arranged with the FWD Network and the EU reference laboratory for antimicrobial resistance network. The meeting will be hosted by Statens Serum Institut in Copenhagen and offers a mix of joint and separate sessions for the two networks with presentations, group work and a social event to increase the collaboration between the sectors. Sessions will include testing and reporting of ESBL- and carbapenemase-producing Salmonella, results from the 2nd AST EQA scheme, experience of using Whole Genome Sequencing for monitoring of AMR, resistance plasmids, the latest on colistin testing, updates from the EU agencies and more. One participant is invited from each EU/EEA country and the candidate and potential candidate countries, from each sector.
