The sixth European Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology (ESCAIDE) is now less than 3 weeks away. The conference, sponsored by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), is taking place in Edinburgh, UK, between 24 and 26 October.
The deadline for on-line registration is Friday 12 October. After this date only registration on-site will be available. The participation fee for the conference is 250 EURO (including VAT) and includes access to all conference sessions, conference material, coffee breaks and lunch.
This year’s conference has an interesting programme including keynote sessions on zoonoses, vulnerability in 21st century public health, public health microbiology and infectious disease epidemiology and vaccination effectiveness, amongst others.
ESCAIDE is jointly organised by ECDC, EPIET (European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training), EAN (EPIET Alumni Network) and TEPHINET EUROPE (Training Programs in Epidemiology and Public Health Interventions Network).
