The ECDC Communicable Disease Threats Report (CDTR) is a weekly bulletin for epidemiologists and health professionals on active public health threats. This issue covers the period from 11-17 November 2018 and includes updates on West Nile virus, Ebola virus disease and influenza.
West Nile fever
Most human infections are asymptomatic and the majority of clinical cases are mild and present with flu-like symptoms. In more severe cases there may be signs of encephalitis, meningo-encephalitis or meningitis.Read more
