Applying for EU-track

The call for applications for the ECDC Fellowship Programme 2018-2020 opened in September 2017.

Candidates must be a national of a Member State of the EU/EEA[1] (candidates from accession countries that will become an EU Member State the same year as the call for applications expires will be eligible to apply to the fellowship).

Candidates are strongly encouraged to contact ex-fellows, current fellows, and the training site supervisors, to obtain additional information about the training sites.

Please contact the Fellowship Programme Office (FPO) at to get the contact list for fellows. Training site contacts are listed under the institute information. EPIET and EUPHEM coordinators can also be contacted for further information regarding the training programme

[1] The United Kingdom notified on 29 March 2017 its intention to leave the European Union, pursuant to Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union. At the time of adoption of this decision, no withdrawal agreement has been adopted setting out the conditions of the participation of the UK in EU funded programmes and the right of EU citizens to reside in the UK. Due to this uncertainty, fellows of the 2018 cohort will not be placed in host sites in the UK.
