Annual meeting of the European Network for Diagnostics of "Imported" Viral Diseases (ENIVD)
The annual general meeting of the microbiology network ‘European Network for Diagnostics of "Imported" Viral Diseases’ (ENIVD), funded by ECDC, brought together more than 55 participants from 24 EU/EEA countries to discuss the collaborative activities with the ECDC
Discussions concerned:
- outbreak support, mainly related to laboratory diagnostics in order to assist EU Member States, and Candidate Countries in detecting, investigating and responding to outbreak-prone diseases, imported agents, rare and/or unknown agents;
- training activities;
- external quality assessments.
