ECDC at ECCMID 2023
After a three year pandemic break, ECDC returned to the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) with many presentations from experts and the ECDC Director.
On 17 April 2023, Dr. Andrea Ammon spoke about “Measuring the changing threat of COVID-19: a European Perspective”. The session included presentations by three colleagues from around the globe contributing with experiences from their respective corners of the world.
ECCMID is the largest international meeting of clinical microbiologists and infectious diseases specialists with around 14,000 professional attendees. ECCMID 2024 will take place in Barcelona, Spain on 24-30 April 2024.
