Sentinel surveillance of hepatitis B and C in the EU/EEA – feasibility assessment, protocol development and pilot

ECDC is planning to set up a sentinel surveillance system to collect certain epidemiological data on hepatitis B and C in the EU/EEA. This project includes a feasibility assessment, development of a protocol for sentinel surveillance, and a pilot of one or more sites to test the data collection as proposed in the protocol.
