Conference on childhood immunisation: progress, challenges and priorities for further actionArchived
The conference provided a platform to discuss priority areas for future EU-level action on childhood immunisation with a wide range of stakeholders.
Marc Sprenger, ECDC’s Director, and several other ECDC staff were addressing this European Commission organised conference for public health- officials and professionals. The conference took stock of the recent initiatives on childhood immunisation taken by the EU – including the follow-up to the Council conclusions on childhood immunisation adopted in June 2011.
Supporting Member States in their efforts to eliminate measles in Europe by 2015 was one of ECDC’s corporate priorities for 2012 and 2013.
