11 Jun 2024 - Zika virus (ZIKV) disease is a mosquito-borne disease caused by Orthoflavivirus zikaense. The disease is most frequently an acute febrile illness with myalgia, skin rash, arthralgia, and neurological signs. Sub-clinical and asymptomatic cases are common.

11 Jun 2024 - In 2022, 27 EU/EEA countries reported 1 757 cases of dengue, 1 560 of which (89%) were confirmed.

2 May 2024 - For 2020, 29 EU/EEA countries reported 123 062 confirmed cases of campylobacteriosis. This represents a reduction of 26.0% compared with 2019 (UK cases excluded).
