Publication series: Tuberculosis surveillance in Europe

The WHO TB surveillance report presents and analyses data collected for 1995 in the European Union, European Economic Area and the additional 24 countries of the WHO European Region. The report was published in 1997 by the European surveillance network EuroTB.   The EuroTB project was set up in 1996 to develop and coordinate a European network of national tuberculosis surveillance institutions in the 53 countries of the WHO European Region. The project was financially supported by the European Commission until the end of 2007. From January 2008 onwards ECDC and WHO/EURO jointly assumed the coordination of the activities of EuroTB.
