MethodsArchived

This section contains two parts.

  • The first part includes references to documents, related weblinks and existing toolkits regarding behavioural surveillance methodology and evaluation methods in the HIV/AIDS field.
  • The second part provides guidance on methodological choices to be made in the different specific populations covered by the project (general population, youth, men who have sex with men (MSM), injecting drug users (IDU), migrant and ethnic minorities, sex workers, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and STI clinic patients). This part is based on proposals by the team experts discussed at the Behavioural Surveillance Expert Meeting convened in Montreux on the 12-13th of February 2009. References of examples of "good practice" are given for each specific population.
