Plenary meeting of the European Food Safety Authority Advisory Forum
On 27-28 June 2023, Dr. Andrea Ammon was invited to speak at the EFSA Advisory Forum (AF) about “One Health in action between EU agencies”.
Following the Council Working Party meeting on Animals and Veterinary Questions on 19 June in Brussels, where Andrea Ammon and EFSA Chief Scientist, Carlos das Neves, briefed Chief Veterinary Officers and Chief Medical Officers on the intra-agency work on One Health, the presentation at the AF was held together with EFSA Executive Director Bernhard Url.
The session explored the perspectives on strengthening One Health cross-sectorial collaboration to better prevent, predict, detect and respond to zoonotic health threats.
