Following European Immunization Week 2012, the European Centre for Disease Prevention, the WHO Regional Office for Europe and Control and the UNICEF Regional Office for CEE/CIS invite you to participate in a Live Q&A session on the EIW campaign site.
WHO “SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands” is an annual campaign that makes part of major global effort to support healthcare workers to improve hand hygiene practices in healthcare settings, and thus support the prevention of often life-threatening healthcare-associated infections.
This meeting was jointly organised with the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME) to strengthen efforts in tackling the challenges of childhood vaccination and the roles of doctors in Europe.

As well as supporting ECDC’s scientific work, the Advisory Forum is also a mechanism for exchanging information, pooling health knowledge and furthering public health cooperation. The Advisory Forum meets at least four times a year.
The objectives of the course were for the participants to understands concepts like Total Quality Management, International Shipment of Dangerous Substances and Biorisk Management
The Management Board approves and monitors implementation of ECDC’s work programme and budget, it adopts its annual report and accounts - all in all, it acts as the governing body of the Centre. It meets at least twice a year.
The general content of the course provided the participants with basic theoretical concepts, using real life TS examples. The course included practical TSA exercises with STATA. Fellows learned how to describe and analyse a TS dataset. Fellows were also encouraged to discover if their current projects have a time dimension and if a TSA would be of added value for their project.
