The ECDC 4th Annual Food and Water-borne Diseases and Zoonoses (FWD) Network Meeting will hold discussions on the current status and development of ongoing activities within FWD and the future needs for surveillance and outbreak-related activities. The meeting focuses on the epidemiology of campylobacteriosis, yersiniosis and shigellosis and the recent STEC/VTEC outbreak in Europe.

The first day will be a joint day with EFSA’s Task Force on zoonoses data collection, thus providing a good opportunity to strengthen the collaboration with the veterinary sector.
