Creating and localising content: Work Package 3 Roadmap workshops
ECDC experts from Public Health Training visited the headquarters of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 3 to 5 April 2023 to establish a roadmap and practical procedures to produce, adapt, and translate learning content for Africa CDC.
Three workshops were organised during the visit, which focused on the sharing of knowledge and highlighting of common experiences and differences in approaches between institutions. Counterparts exchanged their inputs on best practices on Training Needs Assessment methodology and tools, and on knowledge hubs and communities of practice. They also addressed creating, translating, and localising learning content to ensure that the content development plans between the two partners are aligned.
