On Friday 30 June, European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, visited ECDC for a working lunch with Andrea Ammon and ECDC senior management.
During the working lunch, the discussion focussed on ECDC’s work on international partnerships with partner countries, notably Africa CDC. Discussions included the work in the context of the One Health Team Europe Initiative.
Andrea Ammon also briefed the Commissioner on ECDC’s work during the COVID-19 pandemic and how ECDC plans to implement its reinforced mandate.
